Information related to the current or historical offers to buy and sell specific cryptocurrency pairs on various exchanges.

Quote data refers to the information related to the current or historical offers to buy and sell specific cryptocurrency pairs on various exchanges. This data provides insights into the market's supply and demand dynamics by detailing the best available bid (buy) and ask (sell) prices and the corresponding volumes.

  1. Bid Price - The highest price a buyer is willing to pay for a particular cryptocurrency pair.
  2. Ask Price - The lowest price a seller is willing to accept for a particular cryptocurrency pair.
  3. Bid Size - The amount of cryptocurrency available at the bid price.
  4. Ask Size - The amount of cryptocurrency available at the ask price.
  5. Timestamp - The exact time when the quote data was recorded, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
  6. Exchange Identifier - The specific exchange providing the quote, allowing for cross-exchange analysis.
  1. Real-Time Quotes - Provides immediate data reflecting the current market conditions, essential for high-frequency trading and real-time analytics.
  2. Historical Quotes - Offers past quote data, enabling users to perform trend analysis, backtest trading strategies, and conduct comprehensive market research.

In our Market Data API, quote data is accessible via RESTful APIs and WebSockets, supporting formats like JSON and CSV to facilitate easy integration and consumption. Users can filter quote data based on specific parameters such as exchange, trading pair, and time intervals to tailor the data to their unique requirements.
